    Clues for Your Hike

    1. Park in the gravel parking area and look for the trail opening on the left side. Enter the Demonstration Forest.
    2. Follow the trail over rocks and roots, watching for blue blazes on the trees.
    3. When you reach the educational sign on the right, that says “Low Down on High Grading,” start looking for the post. It will be on your left.
    4. Cross over the grass and gravel road, staying straight on the trail and avoiding the fence on the left.
    5. Follow the path as it loops around and brings you back to where you started.

    Did You Know?

    • Triceratops is Greek for "three-horned face" but actually only had two genuine horns; the third was on the end of its snout and was made from a soft protein.
    • The Triceratops is recognized by its enormous skull, which could easily measure a length of over seven feet.
    • Triceratops was considered food for the T-Rex.
