Clues for Your Hike
- Start by walking on the gravel trail toward the playground equipment.
- When you see the brown and yellow sign pointing toward the South Trail, turn right.
- Walk under the bridge and into the woods, staying on the trail beside the Susquehanna River.
- Stay to the left along the outer edge of the park, keeping the river on your left.
- As you reach the tip of the South Island, look among the trees – the post will be nearby.
- Keep the river on your left as you continue. You will walk back under the bridge and follow the signs for the North Trail.
- Follow the North Trail as it curves around the tip of the North Island.
- When you see the gravel path and the playground ahead, keep going and follow the gravel path back to your vehicle.
