    Clues for Your Hike

    1. Start by walking on the gravel trail toward the playground equipment.
    2. When you see the brown and yellow sign pointing toward the South Trail, turn right.
    3. Walk under the bridge and into the woods, staying on the trail beside the Susquehanna River.
    4. Stay to the left along the outer edge of the park, keeping the river on your left.
    5. As you reach the tip of the South Island, look among the trees – the post will be nearby.
    6. Keep the river on your left as you continue. You will walk back under the bridge and follow the signs for the North Trail.
    7. Follow the North Trail as it curves around the tip of the North Island.
    8. When you see the gravel path and the playground ahead, keep going and follow the gravel path back to your vehicle.
